DSH SVP Numbers Spreadsheet 01/01/2000 – 10/01/2020

This is a listing of the DSH SVP Evaluations statistics. It covers the period of time beginning on January 1, 2000 and goes through October 1, 2020. The statistics are broken down by year and includes the total number of SVP Evaluations performed by the evaluator, followed by the total number of times the evaluator determined that the individual in question did or did not meet the criteria to be committed under California’s SVP Act. The statistics are then broken down in every possible way to show the percentages, not just of that evaluator for that particular year, but also for their entire career with the DSH, either as an employee or as a contractor. The results are also color coded, allowing you to see in an instant any patterns, quotas, etc. Also included are the yearly totals for the number doctors employed by the DSH, and a few additional snippets of information along the way, such as a major change to the law that could explain the difference in the total referrals from the CDCR to the DSH, the rising or falling numbers of people determined to meet the criteria, etc.
